Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and DrawPaw LLC ("DrawPaw | Math Presentation Toolkit for Teachers," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the website at https://drawpaw.io and our software-as-a-service platform for creating mathematics lessons and slides (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Services, creating an account, or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

  1. Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. The Services are designed for teachers and other education professionals, not for students as end users.
  2. Organisational use. If you use the Services on behalf of a school, district, company, or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. In that case, "you" and "your" refer to the organisation.

2. Account Management

  1. Account creation. Access to certain features requires an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. You may sign in with email credentials or through Google OAuth where offered.
  2. Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Enable available security features (such as two-factor authentication) where appropriate.
  3. Unauthorised use. You must notify us promptly at support@drawpaw.io of any suspected or actual unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for loss arising from your failure to secure your account.

3. Services and Licence Grant

  1. Service description. DrawPaw | Math Presentation Toolkit for Teachers is an AI-assisted platform for creating mathematics-focused lessons and presentation slides. Features may include equation editing, tables, graphs, diagrams, classroom organisation, exports, and related tools. Feature availability depends on your subscription tier and may change over time.
  2. Licence. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your personal, educational, or internal professional purposes as permitted by your plan.
  3. Modifications. We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Services (or any part) at any time. We will try to provide notice of significant changes where feasible. We are not liable for modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Services.
  4. Availability. We strive for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, we do not offer a formal service level agreement. Maintenance may cause temporary disruption.

4. Payment, Subscriptions, Credits, and Refunds

  1. Plans and fees. The Services may be offered under free, paid subscription (monthly or annual), lifetime, enterprise, or other plans described on our pricing page. You agree to pay all applicable fees for the plan you select.
  2. Billing. Recurring fees are typically billed in advance. You authorise us (or our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method for recurring and one-time fees.
  3. Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period, paid subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same duration, and you authorise us to charge the applicable fees.
  4. Lifetime plan. A "lifetime" plan, if offered, grants access for the remaining commercial life of the DrawPaw | Math Presentation Toolkit for Teachers Services as we make them generally available to customers—not for your natural lifetime, and not a guarantee that the Services will operate indefinitely. We may discontinue the Services or materially change them as described in these Terms.
  5. AI credits. Credit packs or included credits, if offered, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be used only within the Services. Unused credits do not roll over unless we expressly state otherwise. Credits are subject to our Refund Policy.
  6. Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription through account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then.
  7. Refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Except as set out there, fees are non-refundable.
  8. Price changes. We may change fees with reasonable prior notice (for example, at least 30 days), typically by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the change constitutes agreement to the new fees for subsequent periods.
  9. Taxes. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including VAT or GST) unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for taxes associated with your purchase.
  10. Non-payment. If a payment fails, we may retry collection. If retries fail, we may suspend access after notice and give you a reasonable opportunity to update payment details before cancellation.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

You shall not:

  • Use the Services for illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes.
  • Interfere with the integrity, performance, or security of the Services or related systems.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to the Services, accounts, or our systems.
  • Transmit malware or other harmful code.
  • Store, process, or transmit infringing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise unlawful material.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code or underlying algorithms, except as permitted by law.
  • Resell, sublicense, lease, or otherwise transfer rights to use the Services without our prior written consent.
  • Use the Services to generate content that violates others' rights, promotes discrimination or violence, or is intended to mislead.
  • Engage in automated bulk creation unrelated to genuine educational or professional needs, systematic extraction of outputs, or circumvention of usage or credit limits.
  • Systematically resell or commercially redistribute Generated Content without our prior written authorisation.

We may monitor usage patterns for abuse and may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

6. User Content and Generated Content

  1. User Content. You are solely responsible for data, text, images, files, prompts, and other materials you upload or submit ("User Content"). You represent that you have all rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate third-party rights or law. You retain ownership of your User Content.
  2. Generated Content. Subject to these Terms, you retain ownership rights in unique lesson materials, slides, equations, tables, and other outputs generated specifically for you based on your prompts and User Content ("Generated Content").
  3. Licence to DrawPaw | Math Presentation Toolkit for Teachers. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, host, store, and display User Content and Generated Content solely to operate, provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services. We do not use your User Content or Generated Content to train foundation AI models, and we instruct our AI providers not to train on customer content submitted through our APIs where their terms allow that instruction. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period as described in the Privacy Policy.
  4. Responsibility. You are solely responsible for reviewing User Content and Generated Content before classroom use, assessment use, or publication. Generated Content is produced by AI systems and may contain errors, omissions, or bias.
  5. Images and third-party materials. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any images or materials you upload or incorporate, including those obtained through integrated search or generation features.

7. Mathematical Accuracy and Educational Use

  1. No guarantee of correctness. AI-generated equations, worked solutions, answer keys, explanations, graphs, tables, curriculum alignment statements, difficulty estimates, and similar mathematics content may be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for your students or assessment standards.
  2. Teacher review required. You must independently verify mathematical accuracy, pedagogical appropriateness, and curriculum fit before using Generated Content in teaching, homework, exams, grading, or any setting where students rely on it.
  3. Not an exam board. DrawPaw | Math Presentation Toolkit for Teachers is not an examination board, awarding body, curriculum authority, or certification provider. Outputs do not constitute official standards, accredited materials, or guaranteed grade-level alignment.
  4. No reliance without verification. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for consequences arising from reliance on unverified Generated Content, including incorrect answers taught to students or assessment errors.

8. Student Data

The Services are intended for teachers and education professionals aged 18 and over. Students are not end users of the product. Do not upload, type, or otherwise submit student personal data (including names, email addresses, student ID numbers, grades linked to identified students, or special-category data) into prompts, uploads, lesson content stored in DrawPaw | Math Presentation Toolkit for Teachers, or support tickets. You are responsible for complying with applicable education privacy laws for any materials you create and use outside the Services.

9. DrawPaw | Math Presentation Toolkit for Teachers Intellectual Property

  1. Ownership. Excluding User Content and Generated Content, all rights in the Services—including software, design, trademarks, logos, and documentation—remain our exclusive property and that of our licensors.
  2. Feedback. If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use and exploit that feedback for any purpose without attribution or compensation.

10. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with third parties such as Stripe (payments), Google (authentication), AI model providers, hosting, analytics, and storage. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control. See our Privacy Policy for sub-processors that process personal data.

11. Term and Termination

  1. Term. These Terms begin when you first accept them (for example, by creating an account or using the Services) and continue until terminated.
  2. Termination by you. You may terminate by closing your account and ceasing use. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as stated in the Refund Policy.
  3. Suspension or termination by us. We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, pose a security or legal risk, or if required by law. Free accounts inactive for an extended period (for example, 12 months) may be closed after notice where practicable.
  4. Effect. Upon termination, your licence ends, unpaid fees become due, and we may delete account data according to our retention practices. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.

12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that Generated Content—including mathematics content—will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DrawPaw LLC, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages (including loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses) arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Services or any content therein, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount paid by you to us for the Services in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) [100 currency units].

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DrawPaw LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right related to User Content, Generated Content, or use of the Services; or (d) your violation of applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  1. Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Services shall be governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  2. Jurisdiction. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Jurisdiction] to resolve legal matters arising from these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

16. Updates to the Terms

We may modify these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email and/or an in-service notice and by posting the updated Terms on the site. The notice will state the effective date. The "Last updated" date records the latest revision and is not itself the change notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Services and close your account.

17. Miscellaneous

  1. Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Refund Policy, and any other agreements expressly incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
  2. Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
  3. Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that or any other provision.
  4. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign freely.
  5. Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
